Yes I’m looking for a new Account Executive to handle an existing list of clients for the agency. Now you would think with all the doom and gloom news and down sizing’s you read about people would be beating my door down. Not! I’m not sure what it is. We did enough research to know the salary is competitive, the benefits are better than most and the environment…well I think it’s the best but I admit to being biased.

So what’s the problem? Well the first thing I noticed is that people cannot read what they see on Monster or the Talent Zoo. If they could I would not get so many wasted resumes that are not qualified and don’t meet the criteria I asked for. Secondly, I have never seen such rudeness from people looking for a job. I have had a couple of people call up and be mad that we won’t talk to them right that minute. I even had one idiot hang up and holler at my front desk people that he would never work for us. Well I guess he was right.
So if you read this blog and you know someone with Agency experience please forward them this blog and tell them to send me a resume. Not a phone call - a resume!
