I appreciate your encouragement to think about Time's list with some depth - because it really calls into question the collective wisdom at that publication. For me it basically puts them just about a half-a-rung above People Magazine. 

Where are the names of the board members at Exxon? What about the listing of the highest ranking government/industry officials in China? Time wants to put Miley Cyrus up against these guys?! LOL. 

There's no doubt Miley is visible - but the only real influence she has in my life has to do with the inventive ways I need to keep generating in order to avoid her.
