Al,

First, let me say that I agree that Al Gore's work on climate change may not fit Mr. Nobel's criteria to awarded the Peace Prize,

But whether or not deserves the Prize, he should be applauded for bringing the issue of global climate change to the forefront. You are using an outdated conservative argument. Climate change is not something that "might happen sometime." It is happening now and, in fact, at a faster rate than Gore predicted in the documentary. Most folks on both ends of the political spectrum agree with that.

The debate isn't whether the climate is changing (it is), it's whether humans are impacting it.

Those in favor of "GLOBAL WARMING" (as opposed to climate change) want to stifle the debate. They want to blame humans and their "evil" capitalism for climate change based on ice core samplings that even the scientists that study them admit leech out CO2 over millenia so their estimates are exactly that ESTIMATES.

See http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,299419,00.html.

Of course, it's fox news so the "Al Gore's" of the world that believe in man-induced global warming will say this article is part of "the vast right wing conspiracy."
